Description
Named in honour of Wellington’s first schoolmaster Mr Stucki, who gave class in Upland’s tasting room to a small group of farm kids, before moving to a permanent building closer to town. Deep purplish red is the colour of this unwooded fresh Cape Ruby Port from 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon fortified at mid fermentation with Upland Pure Pot-still Brandy. The nose is complex and fruity, with flavours of black currant, vanilla and cherries, followed by a full mouthfeel and long finish.
